Service outside the Archdiocese of St. Louis: I have served in mission in South Korea as a member of the Maryknoll Sisters’ Korea Region from 1979 to 1993. After language school, I was first involved as a nurse in a rural clinic. Later, I served as a poet and part of a contemplative prayer presence in a low-income area of Seoul City. I have served in our Maryknoll Sisters Center in New York as a nurse and a clerk in some of our business offices here. I earned a certificate in poetry therapy and now provide spiritual and personal accompaniment using resources from the field of the creative arts therapies.
About Sister Elizabeth Terbrock: My favorite part of religious life is journeying with my Maryknoll Sisters to help make God’s love visible in this world.
