St. Louis Review, Catholic St. Louis, archdiocese receive honors from Catholic Media Association
Staff recognized with 16 awards at annual Catholic Media Conference in Atlantic City
The St. Louis Review, Catholic St. Louis and the Archdiocese of St. Louis Communications Office received a combined 16 awards from the Catholic Media Association, announced June 19 at the annual Catholic Media Conference held in Atlantic City.
The St. Louis Review received a third-place award for best diocesan weekly newspaper. “The newspaper does a great job of telling stories relevant to the diocese and by doing so, it adds to the knowledge of what is happening in the Catholic Church writ large,” the judges wrote. “Nice photos and graphics draw in the reader. Many of the articles probably would be of interest outside the Catholic community and therefore could serve as an outreach device. Compliments to the team that puts this newspaper together for having an eye on the target market and for having the pulse of the diocese.”
