About Deacon Boyer: He taught and oversaw Parish School of Religion classes, had an outreach to fallen-away Catholics, assisted with marriage preparation and made nursing home, hospital and home visits in addition to duties at Mass, devotional services, wake services, baptisms and weddings. He still helps with many of those duties in retirement at St. Rose and at St. Joachim in Old Mines.

About Deacon Buchek: He assisted at liturgies and gave homilies. Various ministries included the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults; established Bible study, separate annual retreats for men and women, teen groups. Other ministries included Criminal Justice Ministry, weekly visits to Jefferson County Jail. With his wife, Mary, and Deacon Al Love and his wife, Marian, gave retreats for married couples.

About Deacon Lombardo: Served on the parish council and worked with marriage and baptism preparation classes, Parish School of Religion, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, and ministry to the sick and homebound. He also assisted with Mass, baptisms, weddings, wake services, funerals, Communion services and devotional services.

About Deacon Love: He has assisted at Mass, funerals, devotional services, hospital visits, marriage retreats, prison ministry, liturgy coordination, board of education and finance council. He also assisted priests at St. Agnes Home and as a clergy representative in the Inter-Faith Committee on Latin America accompaniment program. Currently a member of the Catholic Charities Advisory Board of the Pathways to Progress Program and is employed as business manager/pastoral minister at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish.
