Teens and social media
The Parent Network of Catholic High Schools in St. Louis will host a discussion, “Start the Conversation: Social Media and Teen Mental Health,” from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at Visitation Academy, 3020 N. Ballas Road. For more information, visit www.parentnetworkstl.org.
Holy Hour for vocations
There will be a Holy Hour for priestly and religious vocations at 7 p.m. Friday, April 5 at the Monastery of St. Clare, 200 Marycrest Drive. The monastery is located off the 6000 block of Telegraph Road in south St. Louis County.
Worldwide Marriage Encounter Experience
The Worldwide Marriage Encounter Experience offers married couples the tools needed to help their marriages grow and blossom more beautifully. The next encounters in the St. Louis area will be held in St. Peters the weekends of April 4-7, Aug. 2-4 and Sept. 27-29. Theology on Tap
St. Louis Young Adults and Catholic Charities Young Professionals will host Theology on Tap from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Tapped in Maplewood. The event will include happy hour, a spiritual talk and social time. Ukrainian dinner
St. Justin Martyr and St. Catherine Laboure parishes will host an authentic Ukrainian dinner on Saturday, April 13, at St. Justin Martyr Parish, 11910 Eddie and Park Road in Sunset Hills. Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. A presentation will follow about Ukraine and its people displaced by war. Cost is $35 per person through April 8 ($40 after), and proceeds benefit St. Mary’s Assumption Ukrainian Catholic Church’s groceries and transportation fund. Bereaved Mothers Gathering
Pallottine Retreat and Conference Center will host a Bereaved Mothers’ Gathering from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the retreat center, 15270 Old Halls Ferry Road in Florissant. The event is dedicated to honoring motherhood and cherishing the memory of beloved children who left us too soon. The event will be held outside; please bring a lawn chair or blanket.
