Faith Alive in the Home

Faith Alive in the Home will host a conference on “Eucharistic Spirituality in Family Life” on Thursday, June 1, at the Cardinal Rigali Center, 20 Archbishop May Drive in Shrewsbury. Parents, religious education coordinators and catechists are invited to gain resources and build community. The event will include a keynote talk from Father Eddie Godefroid, presentations, breakout sessions and prayer. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the event begins at 5:30 p.m.; dinner is provided. Kenrick-Glennon Days

Kenrick-Glennon Days is an overnight summer camp for grade school boys to experience life at the seminary. Over two days/nights at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, campers join small groups led by seminarians and experience games, prayers and activities that promote openness to a priestly vocation. A camp for rising sixth- and seventh-graders will take place June 12-14, and a camp for rising eighth- and ninth-graders will take place June 15-17. Night on Catholic art

All are invited to a Night on Catholic Art from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14 at Epiphany of Our Lord Parish’s upper hall, 6596 Smiley Ave. The night will include a talk by Dr. Lawrence Feingold, an update on the 2023 Catholic Art Festival and information about how to get involved. Pro-Life Women’s Conference

The eighth annual Pro-Life Women’s Conference will take place June 23-25 at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles. The conference is focused on educating, affirming, empowering and activating women to build a culture of life within their own communities and beyond through speakers, breakout sessions and opportunities for networking and fellowship. Topics include abortion pill reversal, sex trafficking, the meaning of sexual freedom, how to change minds in a post-Roe America and a panel of former abortion workers. Old Mines anniversary celebration

St. Joachim Parish in Old Mines will host a celebration marking the 300th anniversary of the village of Old Mines on Saturday, June 24, on the parish grounds, 10120 Crest Road. Grounds open at 11 a.m., and the day will include live Creole music, tours of the church and Lamarque school museum, historical exhibits and demonstrations, food, drinks and much more.
