St. Louis, King Award
Award presented to Kevin Short for his work with the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation
Archbishop Robert J. Carlson presented Kevin Short with the Order of the St. Louis the King Award Feb. 18. The award is the highest honor given in the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Short is CEO of Clayton Capital Partners and board chair of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation. He is recognized for his service to the Church in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, including a lifetime of contributions to Catholic education locally and nationally. Short’s 35 years of charitable service include more than a decade as chairman of the board of the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation. Under Short’s leadership, the foundation has grown into the fourth-largest elementary school scholarship foundation in the country, having distributed more than $125 million in need-based tuition assistance since its inception. Short supports the replication of this model nationally as a board member of The Children’s Scholarship Fund. “It has been an honor to work alongside Kevin on behalf of the Archdiocese of St. Louis for the past decade, and bear witness to his vision to make Catholic education accessible to thousands more children each year,” Archbishop Carlson said.
