Beyond Sunday grants, scholarships for 2020-21 year amount to more than $2.4 million
The Roman Catholic Foundation of Eastern Missouri has awarded more than $2.4 million in Beyond Sunday grants and scholarships for the 2020-21 school year to Catholic schools and students of middle-income families.
Forty schools and Parish Schools of Religion have recieved $757,000 in grants for the next school year. A total of $3.1 million in Beyond Sunday grants have been awarded since 2017.
Additionally, $1.6 million in scholarships have been awarded to 1,053 students attending 119 Catholic elementary and high schools for the 2020-21 school year. A total of $8.8 million has been awarded to 1,965 students attending 137 Catholic schools since 2016.
Beyond Sunday scholarships provide tuition assistance to middle-income families. High school Beyond Sunday scholarship recipients, Beyond Sunday Fellows, receive tuition assistance and become part of a community which meets several times each year for foundation-sponsored community service projects and shared faith experiences.
Beyond Sunday grants help schools grow in the areas of Catholic identity, teaching and management and develop stronger educational programs in STREAM disciplines (science, technology, religion, engineering, arts and math).

• Technology Upgrade | Holy Redeemer School, Holy Redeemer Pre-Kindergarten Program, Holy Redeemer PSR Program | $40,000 |
•Lab/Makerspace/Media Center | Incarnate Word Parish School, Incarnate Word Parish PSR Program | $45,000 |
• Technology Upgrade | Little Flower Catholic School | $10,000 |
•Lab/Makerspace/Media Center | Most Sacred Heart School in Eureka, Most Sacred Heart PSR | $45,000 |
