“100 Hearts” movie

The Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will host the premier of the film, “100 Hearts,” written and directed by Italian screenwriter Paolo Damosso, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at the Skip Viragh Center for the Arts at Chaminade College Preparatory School, 425 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in Creve Coeur.

The feature film (in Italian, with English subtitles), produced by Fogo Multimedia of Turin, presents Blessed Clelia Merloni, foundress of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and her deep faith, humility and limitless ability to forgive. The movie was filmed in Rome and Alessandria, Italy, and parallels real events of the life of Mother Clelia with a fictional present-day story with an original interwoven narrative.

The film will also be released in Spanish. “100 Hearts” will have additional showings in targeted cities in 2024. See www.onehundredhearts.org/

Advent concert

“Behold the Lamb of God,” an Advent and Christmas concert featuring Maria Vargo, will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, at the Carmelite Monastery, 9150 Clayton Road in Ladue. The concert will feature a mix of holiday and religious Christmas music, as well as a sing-along. Special guests include the Carmelite Sisters, Christina Heddell and Michelle Malaway. A free-will offering is appreciated.

Cathedral Advent Day of Recollection

All are invited to join Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski for an Advent Day of Recollection and Reconciliation on Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis. Archbishop Rozanski will give the opening conference at 1 p.m., and Father Patrick Hough, SJ, will give the second conference at 2 p.m., followed by eucharistic adoration, confession, sung vespers, Benediction and 5 p.m. Mass. The event is free and open to all.

Mass In Memory Of Our Children

The annual Mass in Memory of Our Children will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, Basilica of St Louis, King of France (Old Cathedral), 209 Walnut St. in Downtown St. Louis. Father Mitch Doyen will be the celebrant. The Mass is an annual tradition that provides families who have lost a child with a way to include them in their Christmas celebrations. All are welcome. Come to Bethlehem with the Daughters of St. Paul

“Come to Bethlehem: A Christmas Concert with the Daughters of St. Paul,” will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the Skip Viragh Center for the Arts at Chaminade College Preparatory School, 425 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in Creve Coeur. The award-winning Daughters of St. Paul choir will lead an evening of music, stories and prayer. Tickets are $25 general admission and free for children 12 and under.
