Roman Catholic Foundation starts endowment for retired priests
Father Harold Voelker, Father Ronald Rubbelke, Father Robert Argent and Msgr. Richard Lubeley joined Roman Catholic Foundation of Eastern Missouri president/CEO Mark Guyol for the bell ringing to celebrate the establishment of the Retired Archdiocesan Priests’ Endowment Fund. The Priests’ Mutual Benefit Society of the Archdiocese of St. Louis established the fund to provide ongoing general support for retired archdiocesan priests.

Economics of Theology
Economics professor Bonnie Wilson will present “Economics: A Theology of Scarcity or Something More?” at Saint Louis University’s Friday Mass and Speaker Series on Friday, Feb. 2 at Boileau Hall, noon to 1:30 p.m. The presentation will follow Mass and a light lunch. Students show artwork
Student artists from six Catholic schools in north St. Louis County will display their work in an exhibit Feb. 3-24 at Good Shepherd Gallery in Ferguson. The exhibit is titled, “The Work of Our Hands,” and features the work of students from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, Christ Light of the Nations, Sacred Heart, St. Ferdinand, St. Norbert and St. Rose Philippine Duchesne. The show’s opening reception will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3. The gallery is at 252 S. Florissant Road. For more information, call (314) 522-1155.
