Webinar on ending the death penalty
Catholic Mobilizing Network and Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty will host a one-hour webinar at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, to discuss efforts to end Missouri’s death penalty. Webinar speakers will include Bishop Mark Rivituso, Bishop William Shawn McKnight of the Diocese of Jefferson City, and Joe Amrine.

Marriage preparation class: Enhanced
Enhanced, a marriage preparation program that brings engaged couples closer to Christ through the sacraments, will be held Aug. 27-28 at Assumption Parish in O’Fallon. Rachel’s Vineyard retreat
Men, women and couples wounded by abortion are invited to attend the third archdiocesan Rachel’s Vineyard weekend retreat from Sept. 16-18. The retreat will be held in a comfortable and prayerful setting in the St. Louis area, with proper COVID-19 precautions in place (exact location shared at registration). All Things New survey for young adults
The All Things New committee and Office of Young Adult Ministry have created a survey seeking the input of young adults ages 18-39, single or married, and with or without children. The survey was created in response to results of the Discipleship Maker Index survey, which showed increasing young adult involvement as a top priority of the archdiocese. Donations needed at St. Patrick Center
St. Patrick Center, an agency of Catholic Charities of St. Louis, is looking for food donations during the summer months to serve its clients and people needing assistance. Donations being sought include canned meat, boxed meals, canned fruit, boxed cereal, peanut butter and jelly, instant oatmeal, bottled water and sports drinks. Donations may be dropped off Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the donation center at the rear entrance of St. Patrick Center, 800 N. Tucker Blvd. in St. Louis.
