Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski blessed Alice Gitenguri after he presented her with the Order of Saint Louis King Award Jan. 30 at Regina Cleri residence for retired priests in Shrewsbury. Gitenguri, who retired Jan. 23 after 22 years working at Regina Cleri, received the award for her outstanding service to the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Archbishop Carlson Adoption Fund raffle

A raffle to support the Archbishop Robert J. Carlson Adoption Fund is taking place through March 15. The winner will receive use of the Mercy Suite for one 2023 season St. Louis Cardinals home game, which includes 20 game tickets, $500 in food and drink and two parking passes. (Mutually agreed upon date.) Raffle tickets are $20 each or six for $100. The drawing will take place March 20. Proceeds benefit the adoption fund, which supports families seeking to adopt a child and is administered by the archdiocesan Office of Natural Family Planning. Since its inception, the fund has awarded nearly $250,000 in grants to 46 recipients, leading to the adoption of 50 children. To purchase raffle tickets, see bit.ly/ARJC-CardsRaffle.

Mother/daughter, father/son events

The archdiocesan Office of Natural Family Planning and Mercy FertilityCare Services are hosting several events for mothers and daughters and fathers and sons to discuss fertility and promote communication between parent and child. Sessions for mothers and daughters are scheduled Sunday, Feb. 26 (ages 10-12) and Sunday, April 2 (ages 13-17). Register at stlreview.com/3WVNwtP. Marriage on Tap

Marriage on Tap, an evening of dinner and marriage enrichment, will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at C.J. Muggs, 200 South Central Ave. in Clayton. Guest speakers will be Karen and John Hermes of Waterloo, Illinois, who have been married for 46 years and will give a talk on “The Seasons of Our Marriage.”

St. Vincent de Paul Society trivia night

The St. Vincent de Paul Society Young Adults will host a trivia night fundraiser Saturday, March 4, at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1408 S. 10th St. in St. Louis. Doors open at 6 p.m., and trivia starts at 7 p.m. Beer, soda and light refreshments are included. Bring cash to participate in 50/50 raffle and “Heads or Tails” games. All funds raised go directly to St. Louis neighbors in need of rent, gas and electric assistance.
