Restoring religious statues with Michele Bowman

Michele Bowman, owner of Restorations Plus in south St. Louis, has spent decades restoring religious statuary to its former glory.

“I work in churches quite a bit, but I’d say the biggest focus is getting the statues back to the way they were originally. And our biggest focus is also conservation on the statues,” Bowman said. “Every evening when I go to bed, I know I say a prayer that I can just continue to do this, you know, because I do love it.”
