About Sister Regina Marie Fronmüller: During my 24 years teaching in the Fine Arts Department at Springfield College, I led and directed 18 European tours. In 1994, after a slippery fall going up the curved Vatican steps following a rain, a broken wrist became “O happy fault” as this forced me to learn to paint with my left hand and thus was the beginning of fun paintings with a bamboo brush. I have spent the past 18 years as a volunteer coordinator with the St. Bernard Project. Students from Ursuline academies in St. Louis and London have come to help rebuild houses and hearts of people who lost homes in hurricanes. I serve on the board of directors of Ursuline Academy in New Orleans and am a member of the Ursulines’ Mission Integration Committee, giving me the opportunity to mingle with students from the nursery through high school.
