New leadership at Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Michael Meehan has been named executive director and chief executive officer of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Archdiocesan Council of St. Louis. He will begin his role on Feb. 2. Meehan recently served as chief care officer for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, overseeing care and services across more than 60 programs and 10 ministries. A longtime educator, advocate and community leader, he has served on numerous boards and advisory councils focused on children, families and public policy. His career has included other senior clinical and executive leadership roles throughout the St. Louis region.
Documentary now streaming
“A Black History Tour of St. Louis,” a documentary by Tony West featuring Father Gerry Kleba, is now available to rent and stream online. The documentary follows Father Kleba’s tour of significant sites of Black history in St. Louis, highlighting the Catholic Church’s role and influential figures. Eucharistic miracles exhibit
An exhibit on Eucharistic Miracles of the World, designed by St. Carlo Acutis, will be on display on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at Queen of All Saints Church, 6603 Christopher Dr. in Oakville. The display features detailed panels telling the story of 157 eucharistic miracles from around the world. It will be open for viewing from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Jan. 31 and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 1. Holy Hour for vocations
There will be a Holy Hour for priestly and religious vocations at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at the Monastery of St. Clare, 200 Marycrest Drive, off the 6000 block of Telegraph Road in south St. Louis County.
World Marriage Day Mass
A Mass for World Marriage Day will be celebrated at noon Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis. Father Chris Martin will be the main celebrant. A reception sponsored by Worldwide Marriage Encounter will follow in Boland Hall. All married couples are invited to attend and celebrate the gift of marriage. World Marriage Day honors husband and wife as the foundation of the family — the basic unit of society.
Marriage on Tap
Worldwide Marriage Encounter will host Marriage on Tap STL, an evening of dinner and marriage enrichment at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at Syberg’s on Dorsett in Maryland Heights. Guest speakers will be Tony and Sue Morris, a Marriage Encounter couple from Waterloo, Illinois, who will speak on “On a Journey Together — Aren’t We All?” Dinner is $66 per couple/$33 per person.
