New middle school building at Visitation

Visitation Academy has announced it will create a new dedicated space for middle school students within its current campus footprint in Town and Country. Construction will begin in May, following the close of the 2024-25 school year, with an anticipated completion date of August 2026. The space will include nine classrooms with state-of-the-art learning environments and technology, large gathering space for class meetings or student collaboration, locker bays and study alcoves. The school launched its middle school program in 2014 for young women in grades six through eight. Visitation Academy is an independent Catholic school offering a coeducational Montessori program in grades toddler-kindergarten and an all-girl environment in grades 1-12.

Memorial Day Rosary Walk

The Legion of Mary at St. John the Baptist-Gildehaus will host a Rosary Walk on the Katy Trail at 9:30 a.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, to pray for unity and healing in the Church and our country. The walk will begin at the Dutzow trailhead, with a 3.8-mile walk toward Marthasville. Shuttles will be provided. A small get-together will take place afterward at Blumenhof Winery. Carlo Acutis eucharistic miracles exhibit

An exhibit on Eucharistic Miracles of the World, designed by Blessed Carlo Acutis, will be on display from May 30-June 1 at Sacred Heart Parish in Crystal City (gymnasium), 555 Bailey Road. The display features detailed panels telling the story of 126 eucharistic miracles around the world. It will be open for viewing from noon-8 p.m. Friday, May 30; 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, May 31, with a special children’s hour at 10 a.m.; and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, June 1. Kenrick-Glennon Days

Kenrick-Glennon Days is an overnight summer camp that gives grade school boys a chance to experience life at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary. Campers will join small groups led by seminarians and high school counselors. Together they will experience games, prayers and activities that aim to strengthen their faith and promote an openness to a priestly vocation. A camp for rising sixth and seventh graders will be held June 9-11; and a camp for rising eighth and ninth graders will take place June 12-14. Discipleship conversation

The Northern Vicariate of the Archdiocese of St. Louis will host “What’s My Story?” an evening of prayer and fellowship to connect with others on mission to make disciples, from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at St. Norbert Church, 16455 New Halls Ferry Road in Florissant. Participants will share innovative practices, ideas and learn how to support each other in our evangelization efforts. A light meal will be provided.
