Fr. Massingale talk
Father Bryan Massingale will give a talk on “Racial Justice and the Catholic Church” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at the Center for Global Citizenship, 3672 West Pine Mall on the campus of Saint Louis University. The talk is free and open to the public.
High on Life Kite Festival
The Knights of Columbus at Ascension Parish in Chesterfield are hosting a High on Life Kite Festival from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at Chesterfield Central Park (across from the amphitheater), 16365 Lydia Hill Drive in Chesterfield. Participants are welcome to bring their own kites, and the Knights will provide complimentary kites. The event is in support of respect for life activities.
Project Rachel retreat
Project Rachel, an Abortion Healing Ministry program of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, is holding a Day of Hope and Healing for women on Saturday, May 20, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The retreat, which includes Mass, the sacrament of reconciliation and a light breakfast and lunch, will be held in a confidential, prayerful setting in the St. Louis area. Cost is $20 per person, with financial scholarships available.

Young adult retreat
Registration is open for an annual coed young adult retreat from June 22-25 at the White House Retreat Center. The retreat, designed for ages 18-35, will feature talks exploring Ignatian principles for discerning relationships and careers. It will cultivate silence in a hyper-connected culture, balancing work and leisure, and developing one’s personal and communal relationship with Christ.
There will be additional opportunities for silent prayer, spiritual direction and reconciliation throughout the event. Father Anthony Wieck, SJ, and Father Matthew Baugh, SJ will work together as the presenters for this retreat.
