Are you a collaborative HR professional who enjoys both strategic leadership and daily hands-on involvement? We are seeking a full time in person Human Resources Director to lead all human resources functions for the Marianist Province of the US, a Catholic religious organization of priests and brothers, and help foster a workplace rooted in respect, integrity, and professionalism.
As the organization’s sole HR professional, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and oversee the full spectrum of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, payroll, compliance, performance management, training, and policy development. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to shape HR strategy while ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly and in compliance with employment laws and best practices.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field
• Seven or more years of progressive human resources experience
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Experience in employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion
Experience in a Catholic, religious, or nonprofit organization and HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) are preferred.
