Director of Advancement

The Academy of the Sacred Heart – an independent, private, Catholic school in Saint Charles, MO – invites applications for Director of Advancement. The role is broadly responsible for the strategic development and oversight of all advancement programs in support of the Mission and Vision of the Academy of the Sacred Heart.

Leading the Advancement team, the Director of Advancement provides direction to all philanthropy programs, alumni outreach and engagement, special events, and hospitality. The position serves as a member of the Academy Leadership Team and reports directly to the Head of School.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and support the Strategic Plan
• Cultivate donor relations
• Engage in strategic discussions and develop programs to strengthen the financial resources of the school
• Serve as the principal architect of the annual fund and major campaigns for the institution
• Oversee advancement systems and reporting, ensuring accurate data management, performance tracking, and goal attainment

Qualifications:

• Commitment to Catholic Education
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Experience in Advancement department work and norms
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
