Celebrate Black Catholic History Month

We are honored to welcome Dr. Cynthia Bailey Manns as we gather to celebrate Black Catholic History Month. A trailblazing leader in the Church, Dr. Bailey Manns made history when Pope Francis appointed her as one of only four U.S. lay voting delegates at the global Synod on Synodality in Rome. As the Director of Adult Faith Formation at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Community in Minneapolis, she is a deeply respected doctor of ministry and spiritual director who continually advocates for inclusion, dialogue, and empowering the voices of Black Catholic women. Her presence elevates our community’s reflection on the rich heritage and enduring faith of Black Catholics.
