Incarnate Word Academy, an all-girls, Catholic school is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year.   Incarnate Word Academy is committed to providing a college preparatory education to students from all backgrounds.   IWA’s faculty and staff are dedicated to helping every student realize the maximum potential of her God-given gifts and talents and make a positive impact on the world.

Basic requirements include:  a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area, a student-centered philosophy of education, a commitment to the school, its  mission, and to Catholic education, knowledge of current educational theory and best practices, a demonstrated commitment to supporting student growth in and out of the classroom, being adaptable to changes in the field of education, a familiarity with aspects of a digital learning environment, effective oral and written communication skills, and an ability to build trusting relationships with all community stakeholders.  Three or more successful years of relevant experience and Missouri teaching certification (Grades 9-12) are preferred but NOT required.

The successful candidate will be able to:
-Work collaboratively as part of a team in a Professional Learning Community.
-Effectively manage the classroom environment.
-Differentiate instruction to challenge and meet the needs of all students.
