Visitation Academy, an independent Catholic school offering a coeducational Montessori program in Grades Toddler through Kindergarten and an all-girl environment in Grades 1 through 12, is seeking candidates for the following positions:

Accountant

Visitation is seeking a full-time accountant. The accountant will be responsible for processing all cash receipts including cash, credit card, and electronic payments.  The accountant will manage all aspects of the tuition collection database and be an integral part of the student enrollment /re-enrollment process. Candidates should possess strong accounting experience, general knowledge of non-profit accounting principles, and an accounting degree. Candidates should also have strong analytical, organizational, collaborative, and communication skills and respect for confidential information. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word and experience with Blackbaud is a plus. Candidates must be able to support the Catholic mission of the school. Building and Grounds Maintenance

Visitation is seeking full-time, 12-month building and grounds maintenance. Applicants should have experience in the fields of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing to assist with facilities repairs and upgrades.  This position also includes setup and breakdown for routine and special events, as well as outdoor work such as mowing, landscape maintenance, and snow removal.  Candidates must be able to support the Catholic mission of the school. Website and Communications Coordinator

Visitation Academy seeks an energetic and creative professional to join its Marketing and Communications team as a Website and Communications Coordinator. The ideal candidate would possess adequate knowledge of website functionality to effectively maintain the content and appearance of Visitation Academy’s Blackbaud websites and manage issues as they arise. Additionally, this person would support and execute components of the school’s communications plan. While specific Blackbaud experience is not necessary, the ability to apply other experience to utilize this platform and troubleshoot issues successfully is a requirement.

This position involves generating new web pages, updating existing content and images, producing email communications, including a weekly newsletter, managing distribution lists, correcting functionality issues, developing and implementing keyword strategies, search engine optimization, and analytics reporting.
