DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our 148 annual Corpus Christi procession as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ on Sunday June 7th at the 9:00 am Mass. The procession begins near the end of Mass as we take the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist in the Monstrance thru the neighborhood! The Knights of Columbus and a brass band will be joining us to help in the celebration. We will process across Meramec Street to S. Compton\, east on Osceola and north on Michigan before returning into the church. There will be three stops for benediction in the neighborhood\, including a stop in the courtyard at Our Lady’s Inn! Afterwards there will be a reception in the parish hall with light refreshments including custard and cookies while they last!

DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to engage in this exciting opportunity to learn more about the Franciscan charism through the Build with Living Stones publication. Our study and discussion sessions of the Franciscan mission and charism will meet on the second Sunday of the month immediately following the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Sessions led by Fr. Michael Jennrich\, OFM will last approximately an hour and a half. Group discussion materials will be provided as well as light refreshments served. DESCRIPTION:Join the Sisters and other Franciscans For Earth on Tuesday\, October 13\, 2026\, from 6:30 to 8 pm Central via Zoom\, for a free screening and discussion of the documentary Single-Use Planet. This 2025 documentary was distributed by public media station KQED in San Francisco. It explores the political\, economic\, health\, and environmental impact of single use plastics.\nAccording to the KQED Press Kit\, nearly half of the over 400 million tons of plastic produced each year is made into packaging including grocery bags\, food containers\, wrappers\, plastic bottles\, straws and cutlery. This waste doesn’t decompose. It’s estimated over 8 million tons enter the ocean each year\, forming massive gyres the size of Texas\, and this accounts for only about one percent of the ocean plastic. A study by researchers at the University of California-Davis found that a quarter of the fish at markets in California contained plastic in their guts\, mostly in the form of microfibers.
