DESCRIPTION:Melissa Vatterott is Policy & Strategy Director for the Missouri Coalition For The Environment. As part of the Franciscans For Earth (FFE) free\, monthly Eco-Serie\, she will speak live near St Louis\, MO\, and all are invited. Join us at Tau Center in Kirkwood\, the evening of Thursday\, April 9\, 2025\, at 6:30pm Central. Melissa will present “Missouri’s Environmental Policy Heading Into the Midterms” live at 335 S Kirkwood Rd\, 63122. A discussion will follow. \nMelissa shares updates on this session of the Missouri Legislature as it relates to public health and the environment. She also answers questions and provides ways to take action on bills that are moving. Melissa has been involved with the Missouri Coalition for the Environment (MCE) for 12 years. She uses her law degree\, a bachelor’s in environmental science\, and a minor in agricultural economics to lead the MCE’s policy department. She works with federal\, state\, and local elected officials and agencies to address environmental justice and health equity issues impacting Missouri.
