Advent Recollection with Fr. Michael Jennrich, OFM

A Pregnant Pause: A Reflection on our Time of Confinement
The liturgical season of Advent invites us to pause and reflect. During this time of waiting, we instinctively hold our breath in a pregnant pause ripe with expectation and set for the birthing of a new vision. Our reflection will begin with accompanying Mary on her journey to Elizabeth and listen attentively to their conversation. We will then be joined by Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi whose words and deeds will encourage us to continue along the road to rebirth and healing.
Facilitator: Michael Jennrich, OFM has served in a variety of ministries, including street ministry, retreat work, parish work, campus ministry, and hospice chaplaincy. He uses his gifts of singing, spinning, weaving and storytelling to accompany others on their journey to self-discovery. He currently serves as the Program Director for St Anthony of Padua Church in St. Louis, MO.
A meal will follow the event.
